Camilla Werdelin
English Speaking Psychotherapist (MBACP)
Therapy in English
I am a UK trained psychotherapist, working online and in person in Copenhagen. This means I am particularly placed to work with Expats and students (see more about being new to Copenhagen below).
I know how overwhelming it can feel to move through a dark or uncertain time. Sometimes what we need most is a steady presence, an anchor to help us feel grounded again. We all encounter these moments in life - and psychotherapy means we don’t have to do it alone.
Psychotherapy provides a safe space to explore and be curious about ourselves, to develop an inner knowledge and awareness of who we are and how we see the world and others.
I am a qualified integrative psychotherapist, and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have a background in psychology, experience working with young people (16+) and adults, and a variety of mental health conditions such as eating disorders, anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma and personality disorders. I practice an anti-pathologising, trauma-informed approach, so whether you come with a diagnosis or not, we will take our time to explore and understand what your experience is of living in your life, body and world.

Getting in touch
I offer a free initial consultation over phone or zoom up to 30 minutes, so you can ask any questions and get a feel for whether we might work well together. Reaching out can feel daunting and I’ll do my best to make that first step as comfortable as possible.
Please get in touch via email or phone number on WhatsApp.

New to Copenhagen/Denmark?
Having moved to Copenhagen from the UK myself, I know how overwhelming and destabilising such a life change can feel sometimes. It can lead us to reexamine aspects of ourselves and our lives that we previously have not thought about. Difficulties with feeling a sense of belonging, losing and finding meaningful friendships and relationships, distance from family - these can all tap into core parts of ourselves that can give rise to painful feelings and/or memories.
Having a space to talk about all of this can be enormously helpful. Particularly when we are feeling a little lost, having a regular space with the same person every week can help us feel more grounded. And from this grounded space we can then look at what else you would like to work on.
Feel free to get in touch to discuss how I might be able to support you.
